A great majority of the Spetses tourists are repeating visitors. They have visited Spetses once at the past and they just can’t escape this place! It is a fact that it takes only a few steps on the ground of Spetses, to make you feel attached to this place and in some way feel that you have found your distant homeland. It is a mystery to feel so close to a place that you visit for the first time in your life.
Worthseeing
Spetses abounds with places that bear the marks of a significant historic and cultural identity. The ideal starting point for touring the island is the harbour of Dapia with its famous square. The imposing statue of Laskarina Bouboulina, work of the sculptor Natalia Mela, dominates the centre of the Poseidonion square. Kagelaria that stands right on the edge of the Dapia port has a great history. Before 1770 it was used as a meeting point for the lords of the island. Later on it housed the Town Hall; today the first floor is used for the needs of the Town Hall, while the ground floor houses various services of the municipality. A walk in the alleys will give you the chance to view the magnificent mansions with their distinctive architectural elements.

On your visit to the island your first feeling is that all your senses will start functioning more intensively, as in an upper level. You just start wandering around and without even realizing, your senses guide you and eventually you drift in to a beautiful journey. Spetses is the place where you experience the sweetness of the senses revival.

Time is a relevant concept
Time is a relevant concept. As relevant as its size, and the least countable. No matter how hard we try to define it, no matter how many numbers we use to wrap Time, it always slips like sand… It vanishes like thin air and then laughs at us… How long does a day in a city, last? How long does it last away from it? I rushed to an answer according to the dimensions we chose to rule our lives; Hours, Minutes, seconds…
Time, as a primordial Judge, contradicted my rationality and degraded my conclusion.
