It is well-known by now, that the Island of Spetses is rather popular to the Celebrities. You can’t really walk around without bumping onto a couple of Magazine-Cover-Faces. But what makes it worth to mention, is that there are not any paparazzi around, or any of those looks from people, full of curiosity. It seems as there is a secret vow, arranging that any publicity lights and high-tech-zoom-cameras will stay away from the Island. This explains why so many VIPs come here so often, the frequency of their visits explains why people on Spetses are so used on waiting at the same queue with a VIP and vice versa. We shouldn’t miss mentioning that most of the VIPs are artists who seek for their inspiration on this paradise corner!
One very characteristic scene of the above is the Fleet of luxury yachts and cruisers, squeezing to get their place at the pier of the Main Harbor, or at the curvy windless area of the Old Harbor. Especially during the weekends starting from June and all the way to mid September, it’s like a mini-battle of Titans. And we definitely mean Titans of the Greek and International Jet-Set!! Just walk around a bit, at the main square of Spetses, the “Possidonion Square”, and you will be surprised by the beautiful luxury metal floating in front of your face!
